» Educating the Engineer is the primary mission of the National Association of Power Engineers. We are continuously striving to upgrade our teaching materials, and employ as much 'hands on' training as possible. For example at some of our locations throughout the country we have training labs complete with fixtures wiring, compressor pumps steam fittings, etc to help train the engineer for a career in maintenance and operations management. We are currently forming an Education committee at the Philadelphia Chapter to get the ball rolling for education in the area. Please join us for one of our Chapter meetings, which are held at National Energy Control Corporation (NECC) at 312 Darby Road in Havertown, PA. The meetings are held the second Tuesday of each Month at 6:00 pm. The meetings are open to the engineering public and offer a free dinner as well an interesting seminar on a topic of interest to the engineer.
